Option C: -5/4 is not a proper fraction. If you had chosen this option, then you mistook the condition for a fraction to be proper as N < D. Remember, the absolute values of the numerator and denominator should be compared. Absolute value of -5 is |-5| = 5 and absolute value of 4 is |4| = 4 (5 > 4)
Option D: -1/5 is a proper fraction. Absolute value of -1 is |-1| = 1 and absolute value of 5 is |5| = 5 (1 > 5)
Option E: 0.3256 .The bar above the digits denotes that the digits are repetitive that is, the decimal is 0.3256325632563256… It is possible that you may have missed out on this option because it is an infinite number. But, if you look closely, you’ll see the digits 3256 being repeated. Therefore, you can represent this as a proper fraction.
