The GRE® General Test is available in two formats, the Computer, and the Paper-delivered tests. The computer-delivered ones are the most sought after ones and also eventually where you will have difficulty in getting your preferred slot.

Computer-delivered GRE® General Test
- You need to create or sign in to your ETS Account.
- The computer-delivered GRE® General Test is offered year-round at the given test centres, and also on specific dates at additional testing locations. Slots are allocated on a first-come, first served basis.
- As mentioned earlier, you can send your score to 4 universities for free. The score reports are sent to the universities approximately 10–15 days after your test.
- You can take the computer-delivered test once every 21 days, up to 5 times a year.
Paper-delivered GRE® General Test
- Not all test paper -delivered centers are open on all test dates.
- You can send your scored up to 4 universities for free. The score reports are sent to the universities approximately 10–15 days after your test.
- Similar to the computer version, you can also take the paper-delivered test once in every 21 days up to 5 times a year.
